The History

Many, many years ago, the ruins of a shipwrecked cargo vessel was swept onto the shore of an unmarked island, and with it several lucky survivors. Weary hooves dragged themselves up the sandy beach before finally collapsing in exhaustion of their hard swim. Two stallions, seven mare—that was all.

Now, these many years later, the two steeds had risen to become mighty lords of their own dominions. Sons and daughters were born to then, and most have followed closely to their sires' footsteps; either as a Light or a Dark, or in between. Some tensions and fights occurred, so these neutral-loving ungulates chose the strongest among themselves to rule over their newly-made division. They began to call their own groups by tribes. The Tribe of Racing Winds are usually Lights, and the Tribe of Gathering Shadows mostly Darks. For those caught in the middle, the Tribe of Orbiting Eclipses homes the Unaligned.

However, they soon found out that they were not the only ones to claim that isle as their home. Mystical creatures, namely, unicorns and pegasus, may be glimpsed upon on rare occasion; and over time, had grown accustomed to these new arrivals. Not only did they began to show themselves more frequently, but some have even started living side by side with the mortals.

However, tribal life was far from peaceful. Secret schemes and selfish skirmishes between the three alliances are common, as each fought to be recognized as the leader.

Here your choice of fate lies. Where do you stand? Which tribe and alliance would you belong? And what path would your character choose to follow?
